What's New 1/27/09
by Joanne Frazer

well, we got a little rain, didn't we? Let's all think (visualize for all you new agers) rain...nice, gentle, ground soaking rain! Maybe if we all concentrate on getting rain, it'll happen...worth a try anyway!

Two new lambs were born during the last week. Both BaaBaa and Tweedle had one each. BaaBaa's lamb has a black face just like hers. Almost all of the lambs have lots of black on them this time. Do you remember awhile back when Tweedle had twins, rejected one, John tried to get her to accept him and finally wound up bottle feeding him? We named him Spunky 'cuz he was smaller than his sibling. Inf fact, he was too small when the time came around to choose who to thin out from the herd. Well, guess who sired all these new little lambs?! Right, little ole Spunky. He's still small but that didn't stop him from doing his part for the farm! Gotta admire that ram!!!!

John's been busy clearing the beds for all those onions starts. I have to get out and take a picture of the green house before he takes them out. It really looks impressive!

He transplanted Nappa Cabbage, Pak Choi, and lettuces. Plus, took a little break from farming this weekend and we went to tango classes held here in Fort Bragg. It was great fun!

Quite a few of our hens are laying again, so we have eggs!
